Despite the fact that Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is all kinds of paranoid in this preview clip from Grey’s Anatomy Season 8, Episode 16: “If Only You Were Lonely,” watching him, Zola, Mark (Eric Dane), and Sofia all playing together is ridiculously cute.
After Derek sees a woman glancing in his and Zola’s direction, he says, “I think she’s racist.” Mark, being the good DILF that he is, tries to ease Derek’s worries, while speaking Spanish to Sofia.
Even more interesting is Mark’s response when Derek asks about his “other half.” He starts talking about Jackson (Jesse Williams) instead of his quasi-girlfriend and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) look-a-like Julia. Clearly there’s trouble in paradise.
