We’ve always been huge fans of the relationship between Dr. Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). In this clip from this week’s Grey’s Anatomy Season 8, Episode 16: “If Only You Were Lonely,” we get to see, once again, how close they are.
Richard is being treated for what looks like an extremely painful burn on his forearm, and Meredith is helping to bandage it up. Apparently the injury was somewhat related to Adele’s alzheimer’s, since Mer starts offering up suggestions on having Adele visit the same treatment center that her mother Ellis (and Richard’s true love) went to.
It’s a truly touching, heartfelt moment. Check it out below.
