Pretty Little Liars

With only four episodes left until the Season 2 finale of Pretty Little Liars, the girls are finally getting substantial clues about what happened to Alison (Sasha Pieterse) just before her murder. After last night’s episode (Season 2, Episode 21: “Breaking the Code”), we realized that a handful of people were actually in contact with Ali on the night of her murder. One of them must be the killer, right?

Let’s take a look:

Ian Thomas (Ryan Merriman): Thanks to “A,” the Little Liars saw video footage of Ali filming and giggling with her biggest crush, Melissa’s (Torrey DeVitto) then-fiance, Ian. The footage took place near the barn of horrors, where Ali and the girls had their life-changing sleepover.

Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen): In Season 1, Episode 10: “Keep Your Friends Close,” Toby confesses to Emily (Shay Mitchell) that he saw Alison the night she died. He says that she was cold, so he gave her his sweater, and the last time he’d seen her was when she got into the car with an unidentified male.

The Little Liars: We’d be remiss for not mentioning that our four Liars were with Ali that night, sleeping soundly in the barn of horrors.

Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok): Already blinded by Ali’s firecracker mishap, Jenna appears in the video footage with Garrett and Ian inside Ali’s bedroom in Season 2, Episode 17: “The Blond Leading the Blind.” Ian hides a camera in one of Ali’s shelves, while Garrett and Jenna try and figure out how they’re going to get those missing N.A.T. club videos that Ali still has.

Garrett Reynolds (Yani Gellman): As mentioned above, he’s in Ali’s bedroom that night, too. He appeared to be the most nervous out of all three of the N.A.T.-connected bunch.

Melissa Hastings: In a major revelation, we learn that Melissa was somehow involved with the N.A.T. club, when we see her burst into Ali’s room in the same footage, demanding to know where Alison is (Season 2, Episode 21: “Breaking the Code”). 

Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker): This isn’t confirmed, but we do know that Jason was incredibly drunk and wasted the night of Alison’s murder. He even revealed to Aria that he was relieved when Ian “confessed” to killing Ali in his suicide note, because that meant he hadn’t done it.
