Here are the facts: Ashley met Emily at an event in New York City and they became fast friends. Then, she moved to the Hamptons to work as a party-planner and connected with Victoria Grayson.

At some point, Victoria plucked Ash from her party-planning company and hired her as a personal assistant, and now Ashley works for her full-time.
