File this news under WTF: Amber Portwood is reportedly considering going to prison so she can continue taping Teen Mom!
Sources tell E! Online that Amber is considering reneging on her plea deal, which is sending her to a halfway house while she rehabs, instead of putting her behind bars for five years.
According to a court mandate, Amber can't tape Teen Mom while living at the halfway house, and an insider says the ban is causing her major anxiety about her future income.
While Amber's lawyer denies the claim, a source says she wants to "do her time now and get it out of the way."
"The system doesn't want Amber to succeed," the source said. "She needs to stay in the entertainment industry. There are no jobs in Anderson. She needs to finish her schooling. She can't do all of that with a $7-an-hour job."
Additionally, Amber is worried about being able to see Leah while living at the halfway house. Leah is currently living with dad Gary Shirley, who has full custody.
It's unclear if the Teen Mom can even undo the deal now that a judge has accepted it and she's been sentenced to participate in the drug court program.
