Just like painting, Chris finds artistic expression through personal style. “My style changes a lot with my mood. I love Johnny Depp’s style. He hasn’t changed it much through the years because he doesn’t have to. It’s timeless.”
In The Secret Circle Season 1, Episode 14, “Valentine,” Jake Armstrong battled with the king witch hunter, Isaac, who warned him the hunters were coming for Cassie. Jake’s been trying to protect the circle from impending doom, but as we’ve seen in the promo for this week’s The Secret Circle Season 1, Episode 15, “Return,” Cassie is witchnapped despite Jake’s best efforts.
Jake has just about his boiling point, Chris Zylka teases to The Hollywood Reporter. “He's trying to keep everyone safe by keeping his mouth shut," but he’s quickly becoming tired of trying to figure out who to trust, Chris says. "He's going to become exhausted and flip his lid.”
When will the witches begin to trust Jake? Chris says it’s an uphill battle, explaining “My character is trying to win everyone's trust back. That's not going to be an easy thing to go back. ‘I tried to kill all of you, so forgive me.’” However, one major blowup is coming, Chris coyly teases. “Jake is surprised by something the circle does and it affects him.”
