The Secret Circle

This episode of The Secret Circle was a thrilling hour of emotional ups and downs, hot daddies, disappearing bodies, and mascara.  We’ve rounded up the top five OMG moments for you to look back on. It’s raining men, hallelujah!

1. John Blackwell Is Back, and He’s Super Sexy
Move over Charles Meade (Gale Harold), there’s a new older man-witch in town! John Blackwell is back and better than ever, and we are loving his taste in charcoal gray pea coats and cozy sweaters. Sure, he might be the source of all evil and whatnot, but if Blackwell keeps up that scruffy beard and hair coif combination, we’re totally fine with him murdering the occasional dog.

Call us crazy, but John Blackwell seemed like all alright guy – he cares about Cassie (Britt Robertson), he’s Team Jake (Chris Zylka), and he eye-rolled at Ethan (Adam Harrington). Basically, it was like watching ourselves onscreen.

2. Adam Shows Off His Dark Side, Remains Gorgeous and Ethereal
We know that the entire Circle technically impaled Eben on that tree branch, but it seemed like Adam (Thomas Dekker) was in charge of the whole operation. He came charging through the forest like Harry Potter on steroids, and while the rest of the Circle looked shocked and horrified that they had killed someone, Adam was just like, “NEXT!”

Did something change in Adam the day he was possessed by four evil witches, or is he just more of a bad-boy than we give him credit for? Either way, we like what we see (read: Adam’s gorgeous eyelashes).

3. Voodoo Dolls: The New Spellgasm
Spellgasms aren’t just for Cassie and light bulbs anymore. This week, our girl Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) experienced some magical sexcitment of her own when Callum handed her a miniature voodoo doll to slap between her hands. Let’s just say we took a screen-grab of Melissa’s “O” face – that’s how amazing this scene was.

Of course, spellgasms are never as simple as they seem, and in this case, Callum was stealing Melissa’s power. But it was worth it for that second of witchy pleasure!

4. Lee’s Girlfriend Wakes Up From Her Coma, We Run and Hide
Lee might have the hots for Faye (Phoebe Tonkin), but let’s not forget about that passed-out blonde chick who lives in his house. Apparently her name is Eva, and rumor has it that overdosed on Devil’s Spirit. Who knows how long girlfriend’s been in a coma, but this week she opened her eyes and it was completely terrifying.

Why do we get the feeling that Eva won’t be thrilled when she finds out that Lee was making out with hot witches while he was supposed to be taking care of her?

5. Cassie Shoots Jake With Her Umbrella
Yeah, it was just a brief moment of flirtation, but we still gasped at how completely adorable Jake was during this scene. In case you missed it, Cassie playfully shot sparks out of her umbrella into Jake’s chest, and his reaction was beyond dreamy! Sigh, why don’t we have magical umbrella powers? Life is so unfair. Excuse us while we go watch Sabrina The Teenage Witch and cry.
